Credit Cards

Credit Cards Accepted

Carmanah accepts Visa and MasterCard for payments by credit card. Note that your credit card is charged up to one week prior to ship date, to ensure there is no difficulties in processing the transaction (ie. the card is declined, international Visa/MC security check, incorrect card number/expiry date/name, etc.). Once shipped, you will be notified by e-mail, telephone or fax (whichever you indicate as your preferred communications method) that your order is on its way and that your credit card has been charged.

Cashier's Check

(Bank Draft)

If you would prefer to pay for your order by mail using a cashier's check (bank draft), contact Carmanah and a sales representative will take your order and direct your payment. Your order will be shipped as soon as the cashier's check/bank draft is approved by Carmanah's bank, which can take between five and ten business days. Make payable to "Carmanah Technologies Corp." Carmanah can only accept funds in US and Canadian dollars.

Money Order

A money order is a safe and cost-effective method of payment that is available from your local post office. If you choose this method of payment, contact Carmanah and a sales representative will take your order and direct your payment. Make payable to "Carmanah Technologies Corp." Carmanah can only accept funds in US and Canadian dollars.

Wire Transfer

(Telegraphic Transfer)

For larger orders (typically over US$1,000), Carmanah can accept a wire transfer (telegraphic transfer) as a method of payment. Contact Carmanah for the necessary banking information to initiate this form of transaction. Note that wire transfers (telegraphic transfers) can cost between US$15.00 and US$25.00 to perform. These additional costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Business Check

If you are purchasing merchandise on behalf of a business, governing body or other type of organization, Carmanah may accept a business check at its discretion. Your order will be shipped as soon as the business check is successfully cleared by Carmanah's bank, which can take between five and ten business days. Make payable to "Carmanah Technologies Corp." Carmanah can only accept funds in US and Canadian dollars.

Purchase orders will be accepted by credit approved businesses, educational institutions and government agencies only. Your order will be shipped after purchase order has been received and approved. Credit references may be requested. Payment terms: Net 30. All returned checks are subject to a US$20.00 Service Fee.

GSA Pricing

US Federal agencies (such as the US Coast Guard, US Navy, US Air Force, etc.) can place orders directly with Carmanah through the GSA Schedule Contract. As a Federal Supply Contractor, Carmanah has agreed to fixed prices with the General Services Administration, which eliminates the long, expensive bidding process.
